More than 50 experts from Asia gathered in Seoul, the South Korean capital, on Sunday for atwo-

day forum to analyze China's development prospects.

The East Asian Symposium of the World Forum on China Studies invited experts from China,

South Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Singapore and Malaysia for four panel discussions on thenation's

economic, political and social development, the rebirth of its cultural and historicalvalues, and its global interactions.

Liu Qibao, the Communist Party of China Central Committee's publicity chief, was amongthose in attendance.
