Joel HU，vice president, has been associated with the Institution since December 2015. From 2016 through 2017, he served as the director of center for Global economic and financial studies. Hu focus on global macroeconomics, international financial markets and foreign exchange policy. He also pays attention to the research of encryption finance. Hu has published widely on topics including financial liquidity, financial systemic risk and financial business cycle. Hu holds a PhD in economics from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(2006). He is professor of institute of finance and banking, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
